The Coon Awards

I haven't updated in awhile but after the fuckery last night that was the coon *cough* i mean BET awards I feel I need to speak up [ I mean everyone else is right?]

Now usually I don't fuck with the BET awards I mean honestly why would anyone? Can you name the last time BET had a 3 hour block of something that was crazy popping? I mean other than a block of college hill episodes [ cause I do fuck with the hood foolishness that is college hill] what has that network put on the air to make someone really want to tune in.

However just like everyone else who would normally throw BET the side eye I tuned in. Given the recent events [ R.I.P. MJ] I wanted to see what was in store && I must say EPIC FAILURE BET smh

From pre show with some young coons singing some "i'm a jerk" song I knew it was going to be a long night. Between Terrence J being extra hype [as usual] for no reason and Roci looking like Pricilla Presely with that damn baby bee hive on her head I thought there was no point in watching the actual show but I kept on.

Now I know MJ was the best that ever did it and don't get me wrong he deserved a tribute but the 3 hour long cock sucking that BET put on was just to much. I mean did everyone who hit the stage need to be have on a red jackets and some cut up jeans that not paying respect that's just being corny. && the constant repitition that was "WE LOVE THIS BLACK MAN", "MJ IS A BLACK MAN", "OUR BLACK MAN" seriously all you motherfuckers need to stop cause you were the same ones tearing him down right along with the white people on CNN.

Next up the performances like we couldn't get anyone other than Ne-Yo && Jamie Foxx to fill out the roster I mean you could have at least thrown them "stanky legg" niggas on the stage [just kidding them niggas are ultra wack] but for no one && I mean no one else was around. && as much as much as I love me some HOV && BEY [imma a diva, imma imma a diva] apparently they were on some major hateration this week Bey's lovely dad did everything he could to make sure Letoya Luckett did not perform && Bey's attempt at pushing the envelope fell some what short for me. Then you have my man Jay went to work to make sure Chris Brown [team brezzy bitch] could not redeem himself. I know everyone's thinking how could you support him what if he had beat you 1-sorry RiRi but that sh*t wouldn't have played out that way if it were I 2- let the damn boy be I mean didn't Dr.Dre smack a bitch, Rick James kidnapped and toutured a chick, Terrence Howard as a history of domestic violence && Em as made is whole career about beating the sh*t out his wife. Now what he did was beyond fucked up but basically what your saying is its ok to be violent towards a chick if she's not famous cause all these others went on about their B.I. so let Breezy do the same damn

Lastly that Young Money perfromance Drizzy I give you props for making it all the way without a major album or deal but they couldn't help you out with the performance any give you a pimped out cane or something. Then having little girls on stage while you your singing "I wanna love every girl in the world" not ok. So when your daughter grows up to want to be a video girl Weezy don't wonder why.

Anyway as usual BET proved to be lackluster at best && for that channel 54 you get thrown the duece for the next month

Mean Girls

Question of the day- Do "mean girls" ever grow up && if so when?

While indulging in my daily blog fix I came across this && and talks about the relationships between young women these days and it really struck accord with me [in a really good way] one because of my own recently dealings with certain "mean girls" && two because its just so true

Now I have been known to thrown the occasional[?] shade at some females but deep down I can't honestly say why...I mean I have MY reasons for why I don't cosign on behaviors but does that give me the right to retreat to the 15 year old version of the fabulous grown woman that I am [ I vote no]

The article touches on why young "ethnic" women can't get along && its really true most around the way girls can not stand to see someone doing better than them. Mainly it's because they are jealous && that green eyed monster can be a bitch. But WHY? is it really that serious to hate on a girl because your insecure in yourself...at the end of the day you are wasting valuable energy on her when you can better yourself and become the envy of bitches. Don't like a girl cause she has longer hair than you, go out and find a stylist who can hook up some tracks for you...feeling salty cause shorty is wearing something you want, step your game up stop shopping at joyce leslie every week && take a couple of checks && get some exclusive sh*t but stop using another female as the cause of your problems. Yes sometimes you can't control the actions of other females but remember the only reason someone would go out of their way to make trouble for you is cause deep down they are truly insecure of you && if you one of those females who are the "troublemakers, mean girls, etc" do me a favor && go read a book why don't you better yourself with some of that wasted energy.

&& just remember ladies it's not cute to be 25 or older && running around talking about other females, causing problems && throwing shade on a daily basis at another female so I want all of you females out there just walk up to a bad bitch && compliment her on something then walk away with confidence trust me you will feel better && quite frankly shorty might be envious that you had the balls to even do that

So I've just been seeing a lot of things lately and I feel I really need to address some things when it comes to age appropriateness. Like I don't know about you but for me after a certain age I just can't cosign on certain behaviors, I mean I understand we all have our moments but really?

I few things I've peeped recently

1-ladies if you are over the age of 20 and all you rock is aix max/jordans/dunks and match that to a areopostale polo you are not fresh anyone can do that step your game take a trip to steve madden and dress like a grown woman

2-ladies && gents if you are over the age of 20 and your myspace display name is something like certified banger or I wish I could fuck every girl in the world just delete your page NOW

3- also if you are one myspace/aim/twitter and you write LiKe ThIs and your not still in high school go fuck yourself with a chainsaw cause that's gay

4- if you are an adult male and you have a sidekick id/slide please don't whip that sh*t out in public like you the business cause your not I know 13 year olds with lx's && if you use that sh*t like a stereo on the bus be lucky I don't punch you in the nuts

Why is it that your best friend could be in the relationship from hell, your cousin could be in a monotonous and uneventful marriage, but people still feel sorry for you for being single? Is something wrong here? Single life can be the most exciting time of your life

but in this day and age when were all obsessed with judging the quality of our life by having someone to share it with what do you do with yourself when your waiting the "right one" to magically appear in your life

according to the women's bible cosmo here are some reasons women should enjoy being single

• You can devote hours to primping before a big night out — complete with a blow-out and manicure — without some dude constantly asking when you'll be ready.
• Both sides of the bed belong to you.
• When you aren't part of a duo, it's much easier to find the time to pursue your own interests, like training for a marathon or writing a screenplay. [ I will cosign on this one...I hate I mean HATE when people especially smart females get so consumed in their relationship that they no longer pursue their interest]
• Without a guy on your arm, it's much easier to get into clubs without paying a cover charge. Not to mention scoring free drinks. HOLLA

But if relationships are suppose to be learning experiences just imagine what you can learn on your...just a thought

Oh Mass Transportation

So due to the fact that I have decided to wait till my 22nd birthday to get my license I have had the pleasure of dealing with the MTA on a daily bases

Now for those of you who don't take the bus/train I know your thinking it can't be that bad but seriously if you car broke down could you survive for a week taking public transportation && in NY for that matter...I think not...With it's constant rising prices, elevators/ escalators always being out of service, crowded cars, && service always being altered I mean MTA I'm going to really need you to get it together

So with my daily endeavors I tend to see a lot of different things and I just real I need point some sh*t out

1- To the person who finds it necessary to sit next to me when the bus/train is practically emptied GO FUCK YOUR LIFE....yes cause everyone loves being on public transportation after a 9 hour day just to have some invade their motherfucking personal please go shot yourself

2- To the people with kids who like the big that big ass stroller on the train in the middle of rush hour and get upset cause you feel people aren't being considerate of the fact that you have a child get over yourself yes you have baby but you also chose to have a baby and not have a car not my problem and trust I will not make that mistake

3-To the person who feels you need to compete with how loud my ipod is just know mine is usually only on 40 my earbuds can get much LOUDER

4-To the guy who is desperately trying to make eye contact with and I am clearly avoiding it DON'T && I MEAN DON'T proceed to TAP me on the shoulder or come sit next to me no I do not want to be your friend && you will not get my number K

&& Lastly 5- To the hoodrat girls who feel is appropriate to have conversations about sucking dick or your last abortion on the bus super loud please go jump in the hudson

It hasn't been all bad though yesterday a lady had a seizure && this guy def jumped up and caught before anyone realized what was happening && who says chivalry and decent human beings don't exists

Go Shorty Its Your Birthday

So this past weekend birthdaycon 09 went down and I celebrated my 22nd birthday.So I know most people every year on their birthday's or new years comes out with that gay ass cliche like new year new me but seriously I'm not even going to be on some sh*t like that its me every year deal with it bitch




It was a nice small celebration with a group of very near and dear friends. I've realized the older I get that I don't need to be club hopping til 4 in the morning to have a good time besides I'm old now my body can't handle all that cause if I do I may fuck around and look like our little friend below

&& at 22 idk about you but I don't really believe its acceptable to look this way I mean I'm grown now sheesh besides its all fun in games till your fully dressed in a tub and your friends have incriminating pics of you up on facebook right?

But overall it was a good birthday dinner. Great weather, good food, good company and good conversation and shout outs to our waitress for giving us all a free round of birthday shots i don't know what exactly she gave us but this little things below was delish. I mean what more could a girl ask for
